Rev your engines and get ready to cruise down memory lane! Community Assisted Rides (CARS) invites you to our 24th Annual Fall Benefit — Cruisin’ for a Cause — a Route 66-themed celebration supporting our mission of providing free, compassionate transportation to those in need.

We’re popping the champagne for a sparklingly entertaining evening celebrating CARS’ 25th anniversary—and we’ve reserved a glass just for you!

Together at the gorgeous Drury Lane, we’ll hear stories from the CARS community, enjoy a little jazz, and share some laughs while raising critical funding to provide safe transportation and compassionate outreach to older adults in the 22 communities CARS serves. Now that’s something to celebrate!
We have lots of soiree-worthy fun in store, including a lively paddle raise, dazzling silent auction, and not-to-be-missed silver balloon pop!

Through a Driving Kindness Tribute Sponsorship, you can celebrate a special person by connecting their life and legacy with generosity, community, and compassionate support for older adults.
Whether you’re honoring a beloved CARS VIP (Very Important Passenger), devoted volunteer, or cherished friend or family member, a Driving Kindness Tribute Sponsorship is a meaningful way to commemorate their character and inspiration in our shared story.
Your tribute will help fund safe, accompanied transportation and compassionate outreach services for older adults in the 22 local communities CARS serves. With your sponsorship, you’ll be a true driver of kindness, caring for others while honoring the life and legacy of someone you hold dear.
When we commit to helping our older neighbors live quality lives as they age, we support intergenerational connection and give back to the adults who helped build our communities. Plus, when you show your support through sponsorship, you reach community members who could become future customers or clients.
Over 45% of our clients live alone, and many are hearing or vision impaired and experience memory or mobility challenges that make it difficult to manage essential tasks or leave home on their own.
Supporting the work we do for our older neighbors isn’t just for them. By fostering intergenerational bonds, we cultivate a compassionate community where every member feels valued and included – and that feels great for you too!

Making a gift in their honor and/or memory is a beautiful way to celebrate the people you treasure while caring for others for many years to come. If you donate in honor of one of our current clients or volunteers, we will happily mail them a notecard letting them know a donation was made in their honor!
